As a permaculture consultant, I find there are 3 types of clients that I help the most.
Here are the 3 and how I help them:
CLIENT #1: The Property Hunter
This client is hunting to buy a property.
Imagine having someone in your corner for property visits!
You could avoid the lemons, get inspired on the spot, and purchase a property with confidence.
I help you pick the property that has the most potential…
… the one with the best bang for your buck…
… the one that will best meet your lifestyle and property dreams!
NOTE: I can do this with you remotely! We can look at properties with free mapping data together, I can teach you the basics of Permaculture, and I tell you what I would do if I were you.
CLIENT #2: The Property Owner
Most of my clients already own land…
…But they aren’t sure how to best set it up.
I provide design solutions custom to the land and your goals. Examples include:
- Water security, food production, and income opportunities
- Off-grid living and how to improve landscape/lifestyle resilience
- Creating your “happy place” of efficient function, comfort, and beauty
This is my most popular service because in 1-5 days I can survey the land (and teach you to survey), show you your property through my eyes, and then give you a plan for success that you understand.
CLIENT #3: The Project Kick-Starter
Some of my clients are itching to get stuff DONE!
Each year I hire myself out for 2-4 projects or properties to make them come to life.
Could be for a week. Could be for 6 months!
I’m currently living on the side of a mountain in BC at a client’s property.
This keeps my hands dirty with field experience and it’s fun bringing projects to life.
This can mean things like:
- Be a project manager. Oversee labourers, volunteers, or contractors.
- Plan and plant a food forest.
- Even dig a pond and swale network for you with an excavator!
For smaller projects, I work beside the property owners and tutor you.
Could be building garden beds, rain tanks, BnBs… whatever we choose together to make your permaculture property come to life.
I’m curious… where are you at?
#1, #2, or #3?
