In the last 2 articles, I shared my biggest life lesson:
“Ask and you shall receive.”

I used this lesson to:

  1. Build MY tiny house >>>Read HERE<<
  2. Find my partner >>>Read HERE<<<

But I also used this lesson to build one lucky person a FREE tiny house called “Stargazer”.

In this article, I am going to share:

  • How to build a tiny house for free (+ how you can get sponsors!)
  • A HUGE update on the house giveaway

“Ask and you will receive” only goes so far…
… first, be strategic

Ask what can you do for them!

This is how we built a tiny house for free.

Before asking a company to be a sponsor…
Before asking for student teams…
Before asking even myself to give my time…

I first came up with 1 to 5 benefits.

Sponsors got advertising, video assets, & to be on a community show.
Students got an internship in construction & video project management.
And I got to push myself into the professional world of video production.

Win. Win. Win.

This is how we have 85% built a $200k tiny house… for free!
This is how we have made 40+ episodes… for free!

If you have been following the show…
… you know this has been far from easy!

And we have been considering giving away the house away early and unfinished.

So I asked (strategically) for a construction company to finish the house.
(To buy the remaining materials & do the labour).

How did I get them to agree??
They get to feature Stargazer in their tiny home rental fleet to recoup their cost.

This way:

  • The project reaches the finish line.
  • The winner gets a completed home.
  • They get publicity
  • And YOU can go rent a stay Stargazer… before you win it 😉

I can’t tell you the company yet, as we are still working out the final details for an agreement.

On that note…

We need and are ASKING for a contract lawyer.
Someone with a big heart and interested in helping a tiny house giveaway.

Ideally, this lawyer is willing to work to help our community cause, or they are excited to be featured on the final episode of Season 2.

Do you know a lawyer who fits this description?
Feel free to forward this to them, or have them reach out to me >>>HERE<<<
